Maycomb and Bernard have many similarities. One of the similarities would be the size of the town. Bernard is a fairly small town and so is Maycomb. Another similarity would be the way the people are. The people in Bernard know everyone and interact with everyone. Most are, but some people are very hostile toward shut-ins or new people (if they didn't like you from the get-go). These two towns also have some differences. One of them includes the actual size. Maycomb is the size of Cascade, but Bernard is a bit smaller than that. These are some of the similarities and differences between Bernard and Maycomb.
Maycomb is like Cascade because they are both small towns and everyone knows everybody. Then Maycomb is different from Cascade because Maycomb is split. When I say split I mean that the white people live on one side of town and the black people live on the other side.
Maycomb is like Bernard because almost everybody knows who everybody else is and people are always friendly. Also, there is only one school in Bernard, just like in Maycomb. One difference between these two towns is that in Bernard some people may be of a different race, religion or ethnicity they still communicate and are aloud anywhere they please to go. While in Maycomb, different type of people aren't aloud in the same places, and may be treated differently.
Maycomb and Cascade are very similar to each other. They are both small towns and everyone knows everyone. Once you tell one person in the town everyone will know. They are different because in Maycomb the colored people have their own side of the town and the whites have their own side of the town while in Cascade everyone is mixed together.
Maycomb is all around friendly and everyone knows each other, this is partially correct about cascade. In Cascade most people know each other but not all. Maycomb is a small town just like Cascade but I think Maycomb is smaller. Maycomb has a legend associated with the Radley house but as far as I know Cascade doesn't really have a myth or a legend.
Cascade is very similar to Maycomb. Cascade is a small town where everybody knows everybody. There can be gossip at times, but Cascade doesn't have a defined source of gossip, and there is also not much to gossip about. Another difference between Maycomb and Cascade is that different ethnicities are accepted in Cascade whereas in Maycomb, the town is separated by the peoples' differences.
Maycomb and Cascade are both small that make them similar. There different because everyone in Cascade doesn't know each other like they do in Maycomb.
Maycomb seems like Cascade because they're both small towns and everybody knows everybody. They're different because Cascade doesn't seem like it has as much drama and gossip. Cascade also seems more spread out, such as in all the houses aren't all in the middle of town.
Maycomb and Cascade are both very small towns and people know where everybody lives. Many people in Cascade is familiar with one another and gets along well. Also because of racism at the time, Maycomb is split with African-American's and white's, unlike Cascade.
1.) Maycomb is a small town, much like Cascade. For the most part, everyone knows everyone and gossip circulates. Also, most of the community is neighborly! Although, there are some distinct characteristics that divide the two areas. Cascade has people of different races and religions mix. No matter what, they go to the same schools, social events, and live in the same proximity. In Maycomb however, there is a division between the two ethnicities.
I would say that that Cascade is the same way how everybody knows everybody. I would say that they are different because African Americans live on one side and Whjtes live on one side of the street.
I think Maycomb and Cascade are similar because they are both towns. In both towns everyone knows everyone, but on occasion people shun others they think they are weird or different.
I think Cascade and Maycomb are similar because everyone pretty much knows everyone else. Cascade is a small town as well as Maycomb. Sometimes people are judged on how they look, act, or what family they come from in Cascade. They are different because blacks live on one side and whites live on the other.
Cascade and Maycomb have their similarities and yet they have there differences. Cascade and Maycomb are very similar, they are both small towns where mostly everybody knows everybody. They are different though too, Cascade is very open to different ethnic groups and open to other races and other people. In Maycomb they are not, they discriminate against the Blacks.
Cascade and Maycomb are similar in many ways. In Cascade everyone knows each other and a lot of people and fal=milies judge other people by where they live or where there from and how they act but everyone is helpful
maycomb doesn't have an e at the end of it
ReplyDeleteNice observation Robby!
